Scientific Day of the SIMPPÉ Doctoral School
The Scientific Day of the SIMPPÉ Doctoral School will take place on June 16, 2026, from 08:00 to 18:00 at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Lorraine – Boulevard des Aiguillettes, 54500 Vandoeuvre-lès-Nancy, in Amphitheatre A8 (entrance on the 1st floor).
This year’s theme will be: “The energy mix: challenges, barriers to overcome, and responses to climate issues.”
This event will bring together doctoral students from the Doctoral School who are enrolled with either active participation or as auditors.
Reminder
All doctoral students are required to present a poster at least once during their doctoral studies as part of the Doctoral School seminar. It is recommended to do so during the second year of the PhD.
Instructions for authors
Posters must include the Doctoral School logo and the University of Lorraine logo (including posters presenting laboratories). They must be in A0 portrait format and include eyelets to facilitate hanging on display panels.
Speakers will have access to a video projector and a laptop (PowerPoint). Please bring a USB drive to transfer your presentation.
Each doctoral student presenting a poster or an oral communication must submit an abstract of up to 2 pages by May 25, 2026. The abstracts from this seminar will be compiled and made available online in PDF format after the event.
All submissions (oral presentations and posters) must be written either in French or in English.
IMPORTANT
For doctoral students presenting a poster, the poster must be sent by email in addition to the abstract.
Printing of the poster is the responsibility of the participant, as well as its installation and removal on the day of the event.
