La présente thèse examine le rôle stratégique de l'électricité dans la croissance économique et l'intégration régionale en Afrique subsaharienne, région qui demeure la moins électrifiée au monde, malgré un potentiel énergétique considérable. À travers une approche pluridisciplinaire associant analyse structurelle, modélisation économétrique et comparaison institutionnelle, la recherche explore comment le développement du secteur électrique peut soutenir la transformation économique du continent.
Le premier axe dresse un diagnostic approfondi du secteur de l'électricité.

Abstract
This dissertation examines the strategic role of electricity in fostering economic growth and regional integration in Sub-Saharan Africa a region that remains the least electrified in the world despite its considerable energy potential. Through a multidisciplinary approach combining structural analysis, econometric modelling, and institutional comparison, the research explores how the development of the electricity sector can support economic transformation and strengthen regional cooperation.
The first part provides a comprehensive diagnostic of the electricity sector.
